Hello! Thanks for stopping by Beyond Real Estate. It’s a work in progress at this point in time as I had a database malfunction and the only way to fix it was to start over. Fortunately I had about a third of my posts saved so was able to add them once the database was fixed. But it’s definitely not the same. Hopefully things will move along again and this blog will become what I had originally envisioned for it.

So, having said all that . . . who am I?

Well, my name is Annie Anderson and years ago (late 90’s) I was a licensed Washington State Real Estate Salesperson. But after a few years, I found the money wasn’t really in selling RE, it was in buying RE. So, I set out to learn all I could about investing in the good ol’ “American Dream” as it were.

Along the way I’ve met many fascinating people from all over the United States in places like Indiana, California, Arizona, Alabama, Virginia, Texas, Michigan and many others. Eventually, I became a trainer for a nationally known investor and had a lot of fun. But a couple of years ago, I decided to move on from RE and went back to my roots of writing and graphic design.

Today I have a freelance writing and design business and when I’m not doing that, I spend time with my family. We do things like ride bikes, go to the beach, watch movies, and just hang out. I love coffee, books, music, computers, cats and the ocean.
